Well mine is a mess today. I have been finishing of some cards that I made a wee while ago. I am bad for doing the front of the card and not finishing it so I have printed out some inserts to complete a few cards.
The puppies were 8 weeks old yesterday so 2 of them have left for their new homes and I have to say the work load has lightened. So here is a picture of 2 of them having just finished breakfast they are having a morning snooze.
AWE! The puppies are so sweet. I wouldn't be able to give them up, but I know you must. I'm glad to see you don't always add the sentiment on the inside of a card when you make the front. Although I'm not a card maker, it gives me great hope that someday I will be and every lesson I learn will be of help. Happy WOYWW.

ReplyDeleteOh! I love that the puppies have just dropped by their bowls.... Well done on finishing off those cards - I'm the same, but sometimes it helps if I don't have an intended recipient, because it's left blank to be tailored to whoever ultimately gets it!

ReplyDeleteAs for inserts they aren't obligatory... I think of the possibly 30 home made cards i have ever been sent only one had an insert...and most shop bought ones don't either!
..but if you feel that cards aren't finished without them then you wouldn#t be happy unless you did I guess :(

ReplyDeleteBless arent those puppies cute - looks like you have been having a nice play there too - I dont always put inserts in cards now usually because half the time I make the card at the last minute and run out of time! Maybe I should have some inserts already done to hand - I did do that once but it was a long time ago and now you have just reminded me!
