Whats on my desk this week is 2 of the Christmas cards that I have been working on. I feel they are a little bare and need something else on them. So if anyone else has any ideas of what else I could do to them please say.
For those who like to see the kittens 2 of them went to the same home so here is a picture of 2 of them in their new home.

I'm not sure which are sweetest - the cards or the kitten :-)
ReplyDeleteThe cards look good in this way. Maybe one ribon on it or maybe not?
Cute kittys glad the they went to the same home. Cards look great, maybe a frame around them or ground their little feet on a strip of paper or ribbon. I'm sure you will come up with a great idea to match the cards.

Those are really cute cards!Happy little characters!
ReplyDeleteWhat about a little bit of white snow (white glitter, or puffy paint or even dabs of white paint?) to give them a wintery look. I'm a glitter girl myself, I never feel a project is really finished until it has a little sparkle somewhere!
Thank you for sharing! :o)
Love the cards. Simple but effective and easy to mass produce if necessary (I need to make 50 and haven't started yet! EEK!)

Well two lovely cards. Maybe the addition of some ribbon/fibres down the side might help. Oh those kittens. Hope they are settling into their new homes well. Best wishes, Kym xxx (WOYWW No 42)

Lovely cards - I don't do clean and simple but these are nice, love the images. Great to see more of the kittens - thought I'd seen the last of them so thanks. Elizabeth #44
ReplyDeleteI'm forever finding i look at my cards and think they need just that extra something!!! And my fix is more often than not to distress and ink the edges of the actual card, so it kinda frames it.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, maybe some flatback gems or pearls? Love the pic of the kittens, they seems to be happy in their new home.
