It's a Crafters Companion Design Team Call

How I made this card

I printed out the 2 backing papers and decoupage image from the new
Beatrix potter Peter Rabbit CD rom.
The border is punched using a border embossing punch on pearl paper.
The sentiment is printed out and put on purple mirror card that I embossed using the ultimate pro christmas board.
I mounted the decoupage onto purple mirror card.
Some nice lilac wool was added to finish the card off.

This is my entry for the design team at It's a Crafters Companion. I would love to be part of the design team as I love using all their products and inspiration comes so easily when the products are of such good quality. I also have the time to commit to doing cards when required.

Cupcake Craft Challenge 79

I have entered this card into the Cupcakes Craft Challenge.

How I made the card

The backing is red mirror paper that I embossed using a butterfly embossing folder.
Stamped a Nellie Snellen piggy rubber stamp
Coloured image in with dovecraft & crafts-too markers.
Printed the sentiment out and mounted onto red mirror paper.

I am going to send this card to a special friend who lives down south that I don't get to see as often as I would like

Fabs Christmas Challenge Week 8

Week 8's Christmas card challenge is Vintage and/or Round Focal. So I got a sheet of lovely red paper from MIC and using a embossed folder with a frame made a nice background. To give the card a vintage look I used a TBZ decoupage image with a round shape. A peel of greeting on some gold paper to finish it of.

Fabs Christmas Challenge Week 7

Week 7's Christmas card challenge is Poinsettia and/or White space. I had some lovely white paper from MIC that I used as a backing for the behind the poinsettia paper. A gold peel off down the edge of the white paper to give a bit more colour. The topper is printed and melt dust used though I still haven't mastered the melt dust. I mounted it onto tartan paper and some more of the nice white backing paper.

Fabs Christmas Challenge Week 6

Week 6's Christmas card challenge is 3 ribbons and tags. I used my cute crafters companion Christmas CD to print out 3 tags and mounted them onto gold mirror card and tied them with silver and lilac organza ribbon. Then I added peel offs that I had coloured. The backing paper was from a craft magazine that I got. The other ribbons that I added were adhesive.

It's a Crafters Companion Challenge 3

I used the popcorn the bear romance cd to print out the backing papers and a sheet of twisterpage. I used the main image of the twisterpage as a topper and layered it onto red mirror paper. The flower and buttons are part of a embellishment kit from MIC. A gold brad was put through the flower. The ribbon has lovely pearls added to it.

It's a Crafters Companion Challenge 2

I used the crafters companion oriental discs to make this card. I printed the fish from a decoupage sheet and they were in the perfect colours that I wanted. I selected matching backing paper in yellow. I mounted the backing paper on orange mirror card. Then did the decoupage. The text uses a Chinese font printed onto paper and mounted onto orange mirror card. The inside of the card reads good luck in your new job.

Fabs Christmas Challenge Week 5

Week 5's Christmas card challenge is punch it and bling, so I got out a circle punch that I have never used (bought it many years ago) to make the center for the sentiment. For the border I used a border punch on green mirror card. To add a bit bling I used some lovely acrylic flowers.
